Kate and another co-worker threw me and two another prego girls a baby shower on Saturday. They had really cute cakes, ice cream and punch as well as lots of gifts ready for us. Some people contributed to a fund, and some people gave us individual gifts. I got a pack-and -play, diaper champ, swing, stroller, lots of clothes, diapers, wipes, toys, cups and spoons. I feel like we are ready for our baby already :-) I feel very fortunate to have friends and co-workers who ar
e excited for our baby. Our sunday school had a retreat from Saturday to Sunday. As long as I know, it was the first retreat without kids. We went to the Camp Friedenswald and had a few sessions, lots of relaxing, playing games and chatting time. Saturday night some of the ladies gave me lots of good tips for pregnancy, labor, etc. I love getting lots of info because we are so clueless. It is a good feeling to know that I have a lot of friends who I can go for advices when we need them. Every time I go on over night activities, I feel like I get to know the people in our sunday school more. And Camp Friedenswald was very close from our house, so it was nice that I could just get over there after work on Saturday. Not having any kids felt very different too, and it was good to interact with people when they were not in their mommy and daddy roles.
